Hi! I have run in to small bind and wonder if I can find some help here.
Namely I’m a heavy consumer of books, 800+/- in a past 3 years.
\*DISCLAMER FOR TROLS: Yes it is possible I don’t particularly read (dont have time for that) but listen. I work with my hands, 90% of the time alone, I’m good at my job to a point that I don’t have to actively think about what I am doing (no I don’t work in a factory or with heavy equipment), so it leaves my mind free to do its thing and I get bored really fast. Yes I do plan to change my career if you can put it that way, but it is still some years off (that is a long story for some other subreddit).
The thing is I’m starting to find difficult to find new good books. To alleviate the boredom I have even pushed through some bad series, but it is starting wear me down.
So can someone or a hole bunch of people suggest a good list of books, the The bigger the list the better. Mostly I do fantasy, urban fantasy also some LitRPG books have been great, I also enjoy a good sci-fi but haven’t found many of those. I also don’t balk at explicit content. Horror, and regular crime are not exactly my thing.
To give some ideas what I found more enjoyable then others, not in particular order:
• A song of ice and fire – series
• Dune – first three books, the rest not so much
• King’s Dark Tidings – series
• Demon Accords – series
• Nightlord – series
• Throne of Glass – series
• He Who Fights with Monsters – series
• Good Intentions – series
• The Valens Legacy – series
• Succubus – series
• Anything from William D Arrand/Randi Darren
Thank in advance.
