Basically just a murder mystery that takes place in Scotland with a PI or police officer being the one investigating. Also please for the love of all things holy may the PI/police officer please be mentally stable. I am so sick of murder mysteries where the PI/police officer is a traumatised alcoholic with a savage teenage kid and a crumbling marriage and then they need to “face their past/demons” to solve the murder mystery. 🫠
