Hi,
Was (and still am) sick with virus and missed out on all the quinquennial family fun. This was basically the worst Christmas I’ve ever had, not in shape for even Netflix, reading or listening to music/podcasts. And all the foods I missed..!
Anyways, I remember last Christmas I enjoyed reading Bird Box (did not enjoy the movie) and Lord of the Flies. Though not too similar, they both portrayed a mood/eerie feeling that I liked a lot. I was thinking of reading Leave the World Behind, but was put off by varying reviews even though I liked the movie.
As a last grasp of hope for getting in a little Christmas mood as my virus finally fades away, I wanted to ask if anyone would have some recommendations based on those few inputs?
