Who are some newer authors I’ll like based on the older ones that I read?

I want to try reading more books that aren’t 20/80 years ago. So if you guys have authors similar to Neil Gaiman, Sherman Alexie, H.P. Lovecraft, Cormac McCarthy, and Ray Bradbury, have a book that came out in the past five years or is soon to come out, then I would like to check them out 🙂
