Alright so I’m looking for a book (series) that has some magical element in it but isn’t hardcore fantasy. I want some elements I can connect with, be it in present times or in out history. I like medieval settings, western settings and also our current time and sometimes a bit of the future
I’m not looking for a book that leaves nothing to the imagination. So no books that go into immensely lengthy world building. I want some of it but like to fill in the gaps a bit for myself.
I hope this is enough for you guys to give me so recommendations. If not please let me know if you need more information
edit: I loved books like, the library at mount char, the passage and recently read the red rising series which I liked as well.
