Hi All,
I’m hoping to find some suggestions for my son. He’s in kindergarten and reads at a third-ish grade level. He loves the magic treehouse, Ronald Dahl, Neil Gaiman’s kids books, How to Train Your Dragon, etc.
He loves history in general, but most of the historical fiction in the kids world seems to be more for older kids and the stories have fair amounts of violence. He’s not quite ready for that, so I’d love suggestions that help ride the fine line of actually good but without violent conflict.
Thanks!
Edit: Bonus points for all things Norse, and avoiding excessively religious stories
