Right so, I’ve been reading the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, the audiobooks that is, I’ve listened to them on youtube and they were all read by this amazing narrator Frank Muller. I’ve been listening to these on the same youtube channel and I have now reached Memnoch the devil, and the audio quality is so bad I can’t listen to it (the youtube channel is Daniel Molloy)
So I did the next best thing and bought it on audible, but then I realised to my horror it wasn’t frank muller, but i thought hey at least it’s clear and I can understand it…but 10 minutes in and I can’t do it, I’m not familiar with any other voice work of Simon Vance, but after this I never want to, he sounds like the tiktok robot male voice, it’s grating and insanely bad especially coming off the back of Frank Muller. I’ve searched the internet for the version that is on the youtube link but in better quality so I can purchase the frank muller version but I cannot find it anywhere
