Anyone got a suggestion for the above?
I’ve reread the Cormoran Strike series multiple times and really love the fact that even though all the clues are there, I can never figure out the killer on the first read. I also love the slow burn romance/friendship building between the two main characters.
I just finished JD Robb’s Naked in Death… it was okay, but easily predictable and the romance was way too quick.
Love love love strong female protagonists and character development throughout the series. Not necessarily them getting over fiction cliche traumas, but some growth is interesting to read.
Used to read fantasy as a teen and young twenties, so a touch of magical realism is okay.
Series already on the TBR shelf to try: Maeve Kerrigan; M.W. Craven’s Puppet Show; Benson and de Vere; the Arora Investigation; Slow Horses; Ruth Galloway
Am I missing anything?
