I read The Name of the Wind in 2022, loved it, and have been following the typical recommendations on reddit:

Pre-2022 these I’ve also enjoyed
* LOTR Trilogy
* Dark Tower series
* Hitchhiker’s Guide 1,2,3
* The Martian & Project Hail Mary
* ASOIAF except Dance of Dragons, the show ruined reading once it surpassed the books
I tried to read Dune and The Blade Itself. I don’t know what it was, but I didn’t get drawn in and quit on them both. I tried to push through, but eventually put them down and moved on to a new recommendation.
I’m going to wait for Rising Rising #7 before reading the second half of that series.
