Trying to get a gift for my SO. She loves reading books, and she’s overwhelmed with work/life balance. The most common thing is she will think about how much work is waiting for her the next day, and it’ll just really weigh her down when she’s back home. Furthermore, she gets the same way with the household chores.
Overall it’s just a feeling of being overwhelmed with the fact that there’s always more to do. She has a good system for tracking tasks, she acknowledges that she gets a lot of things done every day, and she has great organizational skills. Regardless, she still gets that feeling of having more to do.
A great book for her would preferably be something that gives more actionable steps to helping with this feeling. Two self-help books she liked that come to mind are “Lost Connections” by Johann Hari and “The Anti-Planner” by Dani Donovan.
Thanks!

I liked Burnout by Emily Nagoski. I took pages of notes while listening to the audiobook
