Hi, I used to read a lot of romance but the last year or two I’ve transitioned to different genres but I want a romance read for February. My favorite author is Nicholas Sparks. I’ve read all his books and really enjoy them. I’ve read some Daniel Steele and Nora roberts and enjoyed them but they can get a bit boring/repetitive imo. I’ve read a few Colleen Hoover and did not like them because I didn’t like the characters. It seems like everything popular nowadays is mostly just sex. What would you suggest? I had someone at work suggest Emily Henry but I don’t know much about her or her work, but I would be open to trying. Thanks!

If you’re looking for a story about overcoming odds for love, I’d recommend ‘Pride and Prejudice’ by Jane Austen. It’s a timeless romance that tackles class, pride, and first impressions, showcasing Austen’s sharp wit and keen understanding of human relationships.

Emily Henry is good! I recently liked Romantic Comedy by Curtis Sittenfeld.

I also recommend checking out Katherine Center and Ashley Poston.
