(I don’t think it’s “ice house” but that’s what it sounded like the narrator said)
Who is this person?
Also, what did people think about this book? I thought it was good overall, but had so many twists and turns and big, shocking reveals that it became a little confusing and overcomplicated.
Like, for example, the whole thing with (spoiler alert)
“Isabella is Wilkinson’s daughter! Actually no she isn’t! Actually, yes she is!” Like at some point I can’t keep track of which twist has been un-twisted.
Also the whole thing with the Chinese government stuff seemed overly complicated and unnecessary, like you could easily just get rid of it all completely and the book would be just as good. Better, even.
