Was it simply that it was easier and more efficient to get 96 people from one embryo or is it something more than this? Is it because more homogeneous behavior can be expected from 96 twins rather than 96 people of differing heredity? This second line of reasoning would make since as the Bokanovsky process is only applied for the Gamma and lower classes, whilst the Beta and Alpha classes at the very least have, well, a unique combination of DNA, and stability is the predominant goal within society.
But why wouldn’t the Alpha and Beta classes also come from Bokanovsky processes? Is it simply because this level of predictability would only be necessary for those doing the core jobs required within a society (AKA the jobs the gamma and lower classes would hold)
