Just finished Hustle by Tom Pitts and loved it. What else should I read? What are your favorite crime novels that might even be a bit strange or feature characters that are seemingly innocent but then get caught up in some dark, out of the norm stuff?

Lush Life
“Ghostman” and “Vanishing Games” by Roger Hobbs are a pair of crime novels, about cleaning up after heists go bad. I jokingly call them how-to books for crime, there are lots of fun little details about criminal life.
I liked and then she was gone by Lisa jewell. The twist was pretty strange imo
For someone who doesn’t read that genre, I found Razorblade Tears quite extraordinary.
