It was a book given to my when I was a child, hardbound with golden fore edge. It was a collection of fairy tales. One particular story that i remember was about the fairies and the princesses. Their village adore rainbows so much, so the fairies thought it would be a good idea to turn the color of everything to that of rhe rainbow’s. However, when the real rainbow showed up in the sky, no one adored it anymore because they get used to the color. So the princesses turn everything back to the original. The end.
This collection also contains the original story of snow white, where the stepmother was forced to dance in super hot heels as a punishment until she died.
Last story that i remember was about a princess who was loved by many. On her nth birthday, 2 clones of her appeared (witches in disguise), so they have to test them to know which is the real one. It was three tests, iirc.
That’s the only thing i remember about the book.
If you have a hunch on what the title could be, please give me a list. This book was a huge part of my childhood and it breaks my heart that i cant remember the title
