Anything sci fi/fantasy similar to how/what Diana Wynne Jones wrote?

Hi all, looking for some suggestions on books that are along the same lines as how/what Diana Wynne Jones wrote. Loved reading her books when I was young and really want to experience something new but similar to that. I have reread almost all her books multiple times. However I’m after something that’s more mature? Not sure if that’s the right word. I have read her books for more “older” audiences too. Over the past couple years I’ve dabbled in various authors’ works, and whilst I have enjoyed most of what I’ve read I am still after some DWJ-like magic stuff. I have tried Brandon Sanderson at the recommendation of a friend and did like the books I read, but my favourites were standalones that I don’t think are getting any additions any time soon (Elantris, Warbreaker). I have also read and enjoyed the Licanius trilogy. I started the Terra Ignota series and, whilst I am really enjoying it, my brain gets fried a lot quicker because of how it’s written. I think my favourite series I’ve read since, like, 2020 was the Gentlemen Bastards series, with Jean Tannen being the definition of a favourite character of mine, so if there’s anything similar to that or with characters similar to him I wouldn’t mind checking those out either. But anyway, whilst I do like (sometimes love) the books I have read so far in the 2020s, I would love to find something new that reminds me of Diana Wynne Jones’ books if anyone knows of any.
