When I travel, I like to read regionally appropriate literature. This summer, I’ll be walking the Camino de Santiago, and I realized that I haven’t read much Spanish language literature. So, what should I be reading before? What should I be reading while I’m there? English-language translations, please.
Already on my list:
* *Don Quixote* by Miguel de Cervantes (if not now, when)
* *The Shadow of the Wind* by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
* *The Sun Also Rises* by Ernest Hemingway (look, I know he’s not Spanish but it seems like the time)
