Hey y’all! I just finished Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver, as the first book I’ve read front to back in a few years. I enjoyed the narration and story telling style but took issue with the material.
Anyway, I want to read more! I think I want something with strong narration, characters that have weight/potency to them and a touch of romance in the story (maybe drama/suspense?). I’m not interested in a full romance novel. I used to love reading when I was younger but things happen… A few of my favorites then were The Hunger Games series, anything Sherlock Holmes, Ready Player One, The Giver (and the rest of the books from that collection).
I feel like I have very little direction other than that! So, go crazy!
