I feel torn on reading this series. Im more of a mystery/thriller girl however it seems like everyone has read ACOTAR and it’s so highly rated im intrigued. For those that have read it what are your thoughts? Would you recommend it?

I didn’t like it but it may actually be your thing since many ppl enjoy it across all social media. You can try it just don’t pressure yourself to like it just bc it’s popular
I would 110% not recommend. Terrible writing, awful story telling… and I’m really not a snob about books. But a lot of people (maybe Gen Z??) love it ..so it worth a go if you’re interested.
I didn’t like the series. It’s very tropy and clearly written for people who like romance and smut but don’t read a lot. If you’re an avid reader in multiple genres you probably won’t enjoy it. The first book in the series have some charm to it, that fairy tale feel, but the second and third are full of retcons and have completly different atmosphere.
