I am looking for a book that I read a long time ago but cannot remember the name of the book or the writer’s name. The story goes something like this: a group of bandits kill the family of the teenager main character near a river crossing where the family was running a ferry business. The main character carries a navy colt without a holster in the beginning, works for a railroad company for a while and in the end tracks down all the killers of his family. It would be a great help if anyone could kindly help to find the name of the book.
