Since I was a kid, I’ve been reading mysteries, fantasy, and sci-fi. Getting older, I got into the more crime and gritty thriller and horror stuff, but I’ve only ever
read two romance books; The Rain Sparrow by Lynda Goodnight which I really enjoyed (that was about 6 years ago), and November 9 by Coleen Hoover, which I gave a good go, but it wasn’t really for me.
I want to get into romance books more, but tbh I have no idea where to start. I’ve tried looking through the library, but none caught my eye (it was mostly modern Mills and Boone books that seemed to fetishise Greek, Egyptian, and Italian men).
I’m open to any suggestions and will check them all out at the very least.
