Never Let Me Go was a surprisingly good adaptation of the book by Kazuo Ishiguro.
There is a major reveal that will be spoiled by seeing the movie first but the book is such a classic, I doubt it will impede your enjoyment.

Little Women. There’s four films to choose from. I’d recommend all of them.
Poor Things is out in the cinema now and the book is brilliant.

Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy. They did a good job on the movie by only focusing on certain aspects, but the book is superb. Conroy’s writing is exquisite.
