Question that bothers me about the book. There’s a minor scene where one of the abbots refers to St. Maisie of York having died of a fit of laughter. But she died being pressed. I can’t find any reference to a laughing fit and St. Maisie. Miller didn’t strike me as someone who would mix this up, so I’ve wondered, was there another meaning to this mention?
Anyway, loved the book.
