Ideally with unique writing styles that will make me stay up way later than I should just to finish a chapter. Road trips, art as salvation, queerness, otherness, characters I can root for… if you can make me sob like a baby, that works too. I think maybe just quite quiet books where not much happens but there’s a lot of internal stuff? Does that make any sense, I’m very tired, haha.
