Just finished Pachinko and it is such a heavy book so now I am looking for a “slice of life” feel book where there is a plot but no romance no heartbreak and just a cruise. Something similar to “a psalm for the wild-built”. Just something I can read and feel good.

A really long one that I super super love is The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard. (It’s not a romance, I promise!)
