My mother is a frequent reader and just devours books in a week. She is in her early 70s and has enough time to sit down for a good book. So I sometimes give her a book as a gift.
She kinda keeps with books from Dutch Writers or like the Scandinavian thriller vibe and i think a book series called the seven sisters.
Some extra info that maybe helps. She really likes movies like aftersun, The banshees of inisherin and past lives.
The last books I gave here:
-Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow. (She thought it was a good book, but too much about videogames)
– Where the Crawdads Sing (she loved this and said she wasnt able to put it down)
So im guess something similar to where the crawdads sing, but im open to anything.
