I’m looking for good psychological thrillers (or horror) with a female main character. I can’t tell you why, maybe it’s because I’ve got a bunch of screws loose but I really enjoy a good mental illness theme. Currently reading “A Danger To Herself and Others” by Alyssa sheinmel and am enjoying it.
Preferably YA but will take anything with shorter chapters unless you can promise me that it’ll be a page turner very early on. My adhd brain has to be intrigued immediately otherwise I won’t finish. I really like Tiffany D Jackson’s books as well. But generally things that are quicker paced. Those are the kinds of books I like- I have to be hooked in the beginning and don’t like to spend a ton of time just getting to know the characters. I want to do that along the way while fucked up shit happens you know?
