i’m a crime, mystery, contemporary and thriller. i don’t have any romance under my belt in the past almost 8 years. i just found mainstream or just any romance novels i came across just cringey writing. not cringey as in lovey dovey but cringey was in “what the hell am i reading oh my god what is this crap. “
i would just love some recommendations on some really good romance novels even spice romance per chance. just something that i can’t put down bc that’s how i love my books. super addictive.

The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary
I have actually just finished Book Lovers by Emily Henry and quite enjoyed it. It is quite heavy on the characterisation and I find her writing rather charming. Bit more like contemporary but with romance and lighter on the aspects that’d be heavier otherwise. Maybe you’d like it too!
