i did used to enjoy romance but now that i’ve gotten older and read books written of a better quality, i cant really return to poorly written romance books such as ones written by colleen hoover or emily henry as i find them quite problematic and cringy to read. the only romance book i can think of that isn’t like that is pride and prejudice. are there any modern romance books which are well written and not problematic?
