I want to know more about European history beyond what I have leant in middle school, I hope the book can cover European history from Aegean to contemporary time with **a lot of images and illustrations** of maps, characters portraits, objects, etc, it would be better under 1000 pages since I am not trying to acquire some in-depth and detail nor professional grasp about European history.
