Hi all! Has anyone read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig? I recently read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to see what everyone else thought!
I love the multiverse tie in. I love the symbolism of the library or video store. How does the universe decide who deserves to experience the multiverses? If an alternative “life” was to be chosen, what happens to the consciousness of the alternative Nora? 🤔 I cannot imagine the feelings of grief experienced with deaths of loved ones or resurrections of others in certain lives.

I am also a big “the grass isn’t always greener” type. Every decision you make, pushes you forward. No regrets, no sense in dwelling in the past. What’s done is done.
A masterpiece overall, loved the philosophical tone and beautiful writing.
It wasn’t for me. I specifically didn’t like how he wrote having suicidal ideations and depression.
