I am generally interested in science and nature. Recently I’ve read “Designing Regenerative Cultures” by Daniel Christian Wahl, which made me particularly interested in some specific topics. I am looking for recommendations on books that touch topics like (but not necessarily limited to):
* systems thinking in context of nature, and holistic outlook at nature
* indigenous approaches to agriculture, and their relationship with nature in general
* rewilding
* nature in context of current economy and world situation (ecology, agriculture, infrastructure)
* interesting niches (secret life of shrimps? moss? biology of leaves? you’ve got my interest)
* natural history
Example books that I have in my basket:
* “Thinking in systems”, Donella Meadows
* “Rewilding the sea”, Charles Clover
* “Regenesis”, Monbiot George
* “Otherlands”, Thomas Halliday
* “Wilding”, Isabella Tree
* “The invention of nature”, Wulf Andrea
I am looking for no-bullshit books that can serve as an introduction to the domain or are a particular case study. They can be popular science, or more technical scientific books (depending on the topic)

Three books that spring to mind (but might not be as in-depth as you’re looking for)
An Irish Atlantic Rainforest by Eoghan Daltun
Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
Fathoms by Rebecca Giggs
“To Speak for the Trees” by Diana Beresford-Kroger. A memoir focused on the role of nature (specifically trees) in healing humans and the environment. I have not read it yet but my FIL just recently recommended it and said it was fascinating!
