9 years ago, I decided to start reading again. To challenge myself I set a goal of 50 pages a day. I had some good and bad years, and now find myself behind.
Additionally, I am going to be a dad! fantastic news, but it also means the next few years I am not going to be putting my book challenge from 2014 on the top of my list.
For the 10 year anniversary of this challenge, I want to reach my goal, but I now need to read 96 pages a day until November to make it.
My problem is at this point I have read all the big fantasy and sci fi series. Mazalan and Stormlight, Wheel of Time and Dark Tower, Dagger and the Coin and the Blinding Knife…
I have started to read historical fiction, and while it’s good, it’s harder to get invested in. Or I will read the occasional wonderful book – The Library at Mount Char, The Hands of the Emperor – but I will read that in a week and then it’s another day spent looking for the next gem a day I can’t afford.
I need a world I can dive into, disappear into for three months, and come out with 10k, 20k pages behind me. Any helo secerely appreciated

Hi! I’ve noticed that you might be interested in Scott Hawkins, author of The Library at Mount Char. He [did an AMA here](https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/3j8ndd/im_scott_hawkins_author_of_the_library_at_mount/?) you might want to take a look.
