looking for something easy and engaging to listen to at home while doing chores. Nothing too gory or heavy like true crime or steinbeck as my goal is to decompress while listening. Life is stressful enough already. since it’s halloween, would love something spooky or a mystery but again wihtin the veins of PG13 and not heavy.

Divergent is somewhat similar in its approach to a dystopian world, young adults are the main protagonists. If you’re looking for something a bit spookier The Maze Runner may be worth looking into as it’s filled with suspense and plays on fear like claustrophobia (stuck in a maze!!), and has creepy monsters.
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld is a good dystopian series from the same era!
