I’m looking for book recs involving themes like mental illness, insanity, questioning yourself. I’d prefer if it was something that could be read without much effort and not be so complex where I’d have to google every word in the sentence. Please suggest me something similar to this!

“Our House” by Louis Candlish was good.
‘In the Woods’ by Tana French is an excellent choice for readers who appreciate a blend of police procedural and psychological depth. French’s Dublin Murder Squad series starts with a detective’s past intertwined with his current case, creating layers of mystery that are as haunting as they are gripping.
Just finished The Last House on Needless Street and that’s along the lines of what you’re looking for.
The Bell Jar, Sylvia Plath
