Finished the Book Thief and halfway through Hitchhiker’s Guide and feeling underwhelmed. Really hoping for something that’s going to blow me away. 1984 and Lolita are my two fav novels.
Next up on the reading list as far as fiction are Upgrade by Blake Crouch, A Gentleman in Moscow, Pnin by Nabokov, and East of Eden, but that’s just the plan, please recommend additional novels!

I recommend Cloud Cuckoo Land. Strange title, but terrific book! I’m basing this off of your ratings for 1984 and Song of Achilles mostly.
