I remember reading this short story in school and crying hysterically. I came home that day and immediately shared it with my little sister. I read it to her and we both sobbed together lol
I just re-read it after many years and it was as painful as the first time. I feel like I got shot in the chest LOL. I’m now texting my little sister about it and she’s like OMG why would you bring that up. I blocked that story out of my head.
I want to own a copy of this short story but it’s selling for 300+ I see one listing for 2,000 dollars.
Why is this book so expensive? There was never a reprint in recent years??? I would buy it even in a collection of other short stories.
