Here is a list of books that I have read recently that I **did** enjoy:
* *I’m Glad my Mom Died* by Jennette McCurdy
* *Woman, Eating* by Claire Kohda
* *Our Wives Under the Sea* by Julia Armfield
* *Cursed Bunny* by Bora Chung
* *Lapvona* by Ottessa Moshfegh\*
* *The Vegetarian* by Kang Han\*
\*These are further down the list because they were alright, but not my favorites
Books I have read recently that I did **NOT** enjoy:
* *Cursed Bread* by Sophie Mackintosh
* *The Doloriad* by Missouri Williams
* *Such Sharp Teeth* by Rachel Harrison
I like “dark” themes, thrillers, romance, LGBTQIA+, urban/contemporary fiction, mysteries, and humor.
I’m not really into books that are more than 350 pages, but 400 is my absolute cap. I am also not too keen on series. I want to be able to mix it up a little!
Extra points if it’s not a book written by a cis guy (lol)
Any suggestions are much appreciated!!
