I recently qualified my chartered accountancy exams. I’ve always loved loved loveeeed reading, but could never find the time to. Now that I do have the time, I can’t seem to sit through one. please please please suggest a book so engaging that I can’t put it down.

Maybe try something short but meaningful like The Empress of Salt and Fortune by Nghi Vo, it’s fantasy about a cleric who is collecting the story of an empress who passed through the items she left behind, I think you might like it since you like Becky Chambers
Edit: there are other books following different stories in this series as well, all novella length

What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty
My Cousin Rachel by Daphne Du Maurier. I enjoyed it even more than Rececca.
