Title.
I read Fantasticland in 2022 and still can’t get it out of my head. One of the most horrifying books I’ve ever read bc I could imagine it actually happening. Things I liked about it:
Narrative style (the “biography” type narran tive as if it was nonfiction)
Amusement Park Setting (carnivals, amusement parks, circuses are a big win for me)
Natural disaster
Other books I’ve found that sort of scratched the itch:
Last House on Needless Street
Wonderland by Jennifer Hilliard
