Im 20(m) and do politics at university, the reading can obviously get slightly gloomy and existential. So i’ve been trying to find a good fiction book to distract me, I read musashi for a bit and while i enjoy the world building aspect I felt like it wasn’t mature enough for me. I really enjoyed Kafka on the Shore because of its more mature themes and its balancing of philosophy and fantasy as well as American Gods by Neil Gaiman. In summary, I’d like to read a mature fantasy book with good world building and strong characters, I know theres more Murukami for me to read but any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
