I’m looking for a very specific kind similar to a book i read as a teen (except that book didn’t have romance really); where the FMC joins the MMC’s family as a worker or servant or maid. The MMC is quite snobby, arrogant at first and is jealous of the FMC’s rising power at first (some bantering or competition would be nice) but grows to help them and be a good partner both romantically and within their powers/abilities. So basically hate at first, then they grow to be friends. Looking for low spice/innocent/no smut romances.
Bonus if there are other characters with even small storylines, and bonus if there’s occasional humor
Also I dont really prefer the following to be present;
* fated mates
* werewolves, vampires
* toxicity between FMC and MMC
* jealousy trope
Also the series shouldn’t be too long, like spanning more than 10 books is too much.
