Just finished his book. I very much enjoyed it. Would love to hear thoughts on why Mildred included all of the “overheard” lines in Futures. Or why Diaz put them in the book?
I’m not sure who the speaker is referencing in some of them, or why they would have been important enough to include in such a disjointed version of her life at that time.
