I LOVE the Outlander Tv show and I’m scared the books are going to ruin it for me. Now with that said I also LOVE to read but I’m still not sure how I’m going to feel about it. I like SJM, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Rebecca Yarr and other authors pertaining to the fantasy genre. So for anyone who has read the books how did you feel about it and is it a series you suggest? Thank you!

Yes, I adore them. So immersive.
Well, they are going to much more dense than the authors you listed, less explicit sex and very full of history. I loved them, and I like all the authors you listed but they are not similar, in my opinion.
While the show is great, it makes the main story so much more simple. There is a ton going on, multiple families in the later books who have their own stories going on all at the same time.
They are great, totally worth the read. I don’t understand why you would be worried they would “ruin” the tv show, but the books are better in most cases, at least in my opinion.
