Looking for books similar to the song “Haunted” by Taylor Swift. Preferably fantasy or contemporary. I want the book to have tension, angst, and betrayals. I want it to feel eerie. I enjoy books with high stakes. It doesn’t have to have a happy ending. Also, I like found family.
The line “stood there and watched you walk away from everything we had but I still mean every word I said to you” stands out to me. Another line I like is “something made your eyes go cold”
