I was just wondering if reading the introduction to old books- like the communist manifesto- is required at all. I know that they’re good for a peak into how the world was at the time that they were written, and how the text impacted the world post-release; but do I really have to read it before delving into the main text? Or can I save it for when I finish the text? Thank you!
