Eerie Female Fronted Sort-of Classics

I loved the Emily of New Moon series but mostly because I really enjoyed the touch of supernatural and the slightly dark feel to it. Never really liked the Anne series as much.

I enjoyed a Turn of the Screw, Shirley Jackson and Rebecca. Something similar?
