I recently started reading the first book and I am really enjoying it. However, I just found out Martin has no concrete plan for wrapping up the series! I’m so confused – is this true? Is it worth getting invested in the characters if there is no real end?
Readers kind of went through this with a messy and rushed ending to The Witcher series. Sapkowski just kind of gave up on the main story lines in very unenjoyable ways – especially for Ciri and her oft-mentioned destiny that never happened. Anyway, I wasted months on that series and I don’t want to do it again!
