Ya’ll I’m in a bit of a slump. Weird/dark/twisted is my go-to but I need something *more*

I’ve always been more drawn toward weird, dark, twisted. But I want something that \*captivates\* me, whether that be by absolute drama or a story plot and style of writing that’ll leave me struck for weeks. I suppose I’m willing to explore any genre but definitely some bonus points for anything with a bit of a shock to it. TYIA! Ya’ll never fail 🙂
