Fantasy where the MC is thrust into an unknown world.
Basically, I want to learn things at about the same pace the MC does. Mistborn and Cradle are two examples. Harry Potter is another. A sprinkle of progression fantasy and a touch of romance won’t hurt either.

If you want Narnia/Harry Potter vibes I 100% recommend the Akarnae series by Lynette Noni. It is one of my favourite series!
